Drake may have reignited tensions with DJ Khaled after a pointed lyric on ICEMAN appeared to question Khaled’s public stance on Palestine, and fans now believe Khaled subtly answered back on Instagram.

On the track “Make Them Pay,” Drake directly references Khaled while reflecting on celebrity silence during ongoing geopolitical conflicts. The Toronto rapper delivers one of the album’s most talked-about bars: “And, Khaled, you know what I mean / The beef was fully live, you went halal and got on your deen / And your people are still waitin’ for a free Palestine…”

The lyric quickly sparked online debate, with listeners dissecting whether Drake was criticizing Khaled for staying quiet publicly while violence in Gaza continues to dominate global headlines.

Shortly after the album dropped, Khaled uploaded a video from Jamaica showing himself horseback riding with family while a song by Sizzla played in the background. The caption and lyrics focused heavily on faith, identity, and overcoming enemies: “LET GOD RISE AND ALL HIS ENEMIES SCATTER…”

While Khaled never mentioned Drake by name, fans immediately connected the timing and messaging to the ICEMAN lyric. Social media users began speculating that the post was a subtle response, especially given the references to “enemies,” “royalty,” and people “losing identity.”

Still, there is currently no direct confirmation that the Instagram post was aimed at Drake. Neither artist has publicly acknowledged any feud or clarified whether the messages were connected.

The moment adds another layer to the tension-filled atmosphere surrounding ICEMAN, which has already generated major conversation for its aggressive tone, political references, and shots aimed at multiple public figures.
