Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt may have ended their relationship, but the two are reportedly still trying to figure things out as they focus on raising their infant daughter together.

A source told People that the couple is “working on things” following their recent breakup, adding that they are committed to supporting one another as they navigate the challenges of new parenthood.

According to the insider, Davidson and Hewitt have experienced ups and downs before and have previously separated and reconciled. While it is unclear whether they will get back together, the source said both want each other “to succeed and be happy.”

The pair welcomed their daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, in December 2025. The baby’s middle name honors Davidson’s late father, Scott Davidson, a New York firefighter who died during the September 11 attacks.

News of the relationship update comes just days after reports surfaced that the couple had split five months after becoming first-time parents. Despite their romantic uncertainty, Davidson and Hewitt are said to be prioritising their daughter above all else.

Davidson has recently spoken about how much he enjoys fatherhood, describing the experience as exhausting but deeply rewarding. Hewitt, meanwhile, marked her first Mother’s Day with a heartfelt tribute to their daughter on social media.
