Are Drake’s three new albums his worst-reviewed projects ever?

Early fan ratings for Drake’s three surprise albums are sparking intense debate online

Drake may have dominated headlines with the surprise release of Iceman, Maid of Honour, and Habibti, but early fan reactions suggest the ambitious triple-album strategy is proving deeply divisive.

The Toronto superstar shocked fans by dropping all three projects simultaneously on May 15, flooding streaming platforms with a combined 43 tracks in a single night. While the releases immediately shot up music charts and sparked massive online conversation, early user scores on Album of the Year painted a far less celebratory picture.

According to ratings posted within hours of release, Iceman received a modest score of 58, while Maid of Honour and Habibti reportedly scored dramatically lower at 25 and 29 respectively. If the numbers hold, the projects could become the lowest-rated releases of Drake’s career on the platform.

Among the three albums, Iceman has generally emerged as the most positively received. The rap-focused project includes appearances from Future, 21 Savage, and Central Cee, while featuring introspective lyrics and references to Drake’s recent public feuds.

Meanwhile, Maid of Honour explores dance-heavy production reminiscent of Drake’s earlier experimental sound, while Habibti leans more heavily into melodic R&B territory with features from PARTYNEXTDOOR and Sexyy Red.
