A brand-new teaser for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has given fans another glimpse at what could become Tom Holland’s most action-heavy outing as Spider-Man so far.
Released by Sony Pictures ahead of the film’s July 2026 premiere, the behind-the-scenes teaser showcases large-scale stunt work, practical swinging sequences, and intense action scenes filmed across London.
In the footage, Holland describes the movie as featuring “some of the best action” seen in any Spider-Man film so far. Director Destin Daniel Cretton, best known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, also teased ambitious practical stunt work and cinematic swinging sequences designed to push the franchise in a new direction.

Unlike previous MCU Spider-Man movies directed by Jon Watts, Brand New Day appears to lean heavily into a grounded, street-level style while still delivering massive action set pieces. Early footage has already teased comic-book villains including Scorpion and Tombstone, along with acrobatic sequences fans say feel very different from Holland’s earlier films.
The teaser also hints at Marvel relying more heavily on practical stunt work rather than full CGI environments, something many fans have praised online following criticism of visual effects overload in recent superhero projects.
Anticipation for the film has continued building after the first trailer reportedly became one of the biggest trailer launches in recent movie history. Fans are now waiting for a second full trailer as the movie approaches its July 31, 2026 theatrical release.
