‘The Boys’ season 5 just gave Samuel L. Jackson its weirdest cameo yet

Samuel L. Jackson made a surprise appearance in the latest episode of The Boys, delivering one of the show’s strangest cameos yet.
In season 5 episode 7, Jackson voices a talking hammerhead shark named Xander, who confronts The Deep after he destroys an underwater petroleum pipeline.
The explosion reportedly kills billions of sea creatures, causing the ocean’s inhabitants to completely turn against him.
During the scene, Xander unleashes a profanity-filled rant at The Deep, warning him that he is no longer welcome in the water and threatening him if he ever returns to the ocean.

The cameo continues a trend of major surprise appearances throughout the show’s final season, which has already included several reunions tied to creator Eric Kripke’s Supernatural cast.
