Is Dua Lipa banned from Israel? Viral claim spreads as Samsung Electronics lawsuit heats up
A new viral rumor has dragged Dua Lipa into a fresh round of online speculation, with social media users claiming she has been banned from entering Israel.
The claim spread quickly, largely because of Dua Lipa’s outspoken criticism of the war in Gaza and her past public statements supporting Palestinian civilians. But despite the noise online, there is still no official Israeli government statement, entry notice, or credible reporting confirming that she has been formally barred from the country.
As of now, the alleged ban remains unverified.

What is very real, however, is her legal fight with Samsung Electronics.
Dua Lipa has filed a lawsuit seeking at least $15 million, accusing Samsung of using her image on television packaging without permission. According to the complaint filed in California federal court, a photograph of the singer taken backstage at the 2024 Austin City Limits Music Festival was allegedly printed on TV boxes sold in the United States in a way that suggested she endorsed the products.
Her legal team argues that Samsung’s use of the image misled customers and damaged the commercial value of her brand.
At the same time, another older rumor has resurfaced online, the claim that Dua Lipa had a tense confrontation with Gal Gadot in a bathroom at the Met Gala. The story has been widely repeated again this week, but there is still no verified evidence that any such incident happened. No eyewitness accounts, no public comments from either side, and no credible reporting have confirmed it.
What seems to be happening is that several separate stories, Dua Lipa’s political views, her very real lawsuit, and older celebrity gossip, have been folded together into one dramatic online narrative.
The reality is simpler: the Samsung lawsuit is genuine. The alleged Israel ban and the rumored Met Gala clash remain internet speculation.
