John Krasinski confirms ‘A Quiet Place Part III’ filming with new set update

John Krasinski shares a first update as filming begins for A Quiet Place Part III, teasing the next chapter

John Krasinski has officially confirmed that filming has begun on A Quiet Place Part III, sharing a first-look set photo with the caption “Here. We. Go!” and marking the next chapter in the hit horror franchise.

The image, posted on social media, offered few direct spoilers but hinted at a return to familiar territory for the Abbott family. A visible Manhattan Bridge Arch in the background suggests the story may once again unfold in New York City, where parts of the original film and A Quiet Place: Part II were set.

Its sequel, A Quiet Place: Part II, expanded the story beyond the farm setting, while A Quiet Place: Day One explored the early days of the invasion in New York City. Both films strengthened the franchise’s global appeal, even as budgets and returns shifted.

Emily Blunt is set to reprise her role as Evelyn Abbott, alongside Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe. Cillian Murphy is also expected to return, continuing his role introduced in the second film. New cast members include Jack O’Connell, Katy O’Brian, and Jason Clarke.

Krasinski returns as director and writer for A Quiet Place Part III, which is widely expected to continue or conclude the Abbott family storyline when it releases in 2027.
