Allison Mack, best known for playing Chloe Sullivan on Smallville, is attempting to rebuild her life after serving prison time for her role in the NXIVM sex trafficking case.
Mack was arrested in 2018 for her involvement in NXIVM, a group led by Keith Raniere that prosecutors said operated as a coercive organisation that exploited women. She pleaded guilty to racketeering and conspiracy charges in 2019 and was sentenced in 2021 to three years in federal prison. Mack was released early in July 2023 after serving about 21 months.
Since leaving prison, Mack has largely stayed out of the spotlight, but she has begun speaking publicly about her role in the scandal. In late 2025, she participated in CBC’s Uncover podcast series, Allison After NXIVM, where she said, “I don’t see myself as innocent,” and acknowledged the harm caused by her actions.
In her personal life, Mack remarried in 2025 in a small ceremony in Los Angeles. According to People, she met her husband, Frank Meeink, after her release from prison and has been focused on moving forward with her life.
Reports have also indicated that Mack has pursued education and community-oriented work as part of her effort to start over. While she no longer acts and maintains a low public profile, her recent interviews suggest she is trying to take accountability and build a different future.
Mack’s story remains one of the most dramatic falls from grace in recent Hollywood history, transforming her from a beloved television star into a central figure in one of the most notorious cult cases in the entertainment industry. Today, she is living privately, speaking more openly about her past, and working to rebuild her life after prison.
