Miley Cyrus to receive Hollywood Walk of Fame star on May 22

Miley Cyrus will receive a Hollywood Walk of Fame star on May 22, honouring her music and acting career. Singer Miley Cyrus is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, May 22. Actor Anya Taylor-Joy and fashion designer Donatella Versace will speak at the ceremony, which will be televised by iHeartMedia personality Ellen K.

Cyrus’ star will be located at 7011 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood. The ceremony will also be streamed live on the Walk of Fame’s official website. Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement that “Miley deserves her flowers as she has made a lasting impact on the entertainment industry.” She added that generations of young girls have grown up watching the singer evolve and find inspiration in her journey.

Cyrus has earned two No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 with songs Wrecking Ball and Flowers. She won two Grammy Awards for Flowers, taking home Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
