'Tees Mar Khan', 'Commando Group' gangsters arrested

KARACHI:

The Pakistan Rangers have arrested five suspected members of a notorious criminal gang involved in robbery and street crime during an intelligence-based operation in North Nazimabad.

According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), the suspects were arrested from the Niaaz Manzil area of North Nazimabad. The arrested individuals have been identified as Gulfam alias Sunny, Muhammad Shan, Dawood, Ashraf alias Pannu, and Ismail.

The gang, commonly known as the "Tees Mar Khan and Commando Group," was involved in multiple incidents of street crime, including mobile snatching, vehicle theft, and armed robberies in areas such as Hyderi Market, Godhra Chowk, Gulberg Town, Serena Mobile Market, and surrounding localities.

Weapons and stolen items were recovered from their possession, including a .30 bore pistol, two 9mm pistols, magazines, bullets, mobile phones, and cash. Muhammad Shan was also involved in supplying illegal weapons to criminals and purchasing stolen motorcycles.

The group was allegedly involved in around 450 to 500 robbery cases, stealing motorcycles, mobile phones, and cash worth Rs3.5 to 4 million. The suspects also reportedly injured several citizens during robberies.

The arrested individuals are repeat offenders with multiple FIRs registered in different police stations across Karachi.

Further raids are underway to arrest their accomplices.
