'We Were Liars' Season 2 will explore 1999 tragedy with new cast additions
The Amazon Prime Video mystery series We Were Liars has expanded its cast for Season 2, introducing six new actors as the story travels back to the summer of 1999 on Beechwood Island.
Josh Dallas has been cast as young Harris Sinclair, while Costa D’Angelo joins as a new character named Pfeff. Parker Lapaine will portray young Carrie Sinclair, with Peyton List taking on young Tipper Sinclair. Elysia Roorbach is set to play young Penny Sinclair, and Madison Wolfe will appear as young Bess Sinclair.
Season 1 starred Emily Alyn Lind as Cadence Sinclair Eastman alongside Shubham Maheshwari, Esther McGregor, and Joseph Zada, with Caitlin FitzGerald, Mamie Gummer, Candice King, Rahul Kohli, and David Morse in supporting roles.
The series is written and executive produced by Julie Plec and Carina Adly MacKenzie, with E. Lockhart also serving as executive producer. Universal Television and Amazon MGM Studios produce the adaptation.
Production on Season 2 continues to build anticipation as the series expands its mystery-driven narrative and deepens its focus on the Sinclair family’s history.
