Assassin’s Creed Heredis stage show announced with parkour and live fight choreography

Assassin's Creed is expanding beyond games and film with the announcement of a new live theatre production titled Heredis, which is set to premiere in late 2026.
Ubisoft described it as a stage experience that combines acrobatics, parkour, theatrical storytelling, and choreographed combat within the Assassin’s Creed universe.
According to the official description, the production introduces an original storyline centred on a new character named Naël.

The production’s website states, “On his 25th birthday, a mysterious letter leads him into the HEREDIS program. With his allies, Naël faces a series of trials across different historical eras in a quest to find his father…”
Ubisoft has said the stage production is inspired by the themes and world of Assassin’s Creed rather than directly adapting any existing game storyline.
The company also noted that audiences will not need prior knowledge of the franchise to follow the narrative, although long-time fans may recognise references connected to the wider series mythology.
Details regarding links to core franchise concepts such as the Animus or the Templars have not yet been confirmed. The production is currently positioned as a standalone entry within the wider Assassin’s Creed universe.
Heredis is scheduled to debut in Montreal on December 3 2026 before moving to Paris on January 21 2027. Tickets for both performances are already on sale. Ubisoft has confirmed that the production will be performed in French, though no international expansion plans have been announced so far.
Heredis marks the first time the Assassin’s Creed franchise has been adapted into a live stage production.
