Billie Eilish has said she does not plan to undergo cosmetic surgery, explaining that she is looking forward to ageing naturally and maintaining her appearance over time.

The 24-year-old singer discussed her views during an appearance on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast, where she spoke openly about body image and growing older. “I’m so excited for my face to age and my body to age and not change it,” she said.

Eilish added that her perspective is shaped by how she wants to be seen by future generations. “I want my kids to look at me and have my face look like their face, and not be some botched version of whatever the f*** is going on out there right now.”

Reflecting on her earlier years, the singer acknowledged that her understanding of ageing has evolved. “I was just like, ‘This will be me forever,’” she said. “I remember when I was 17, I was like, ‘OK, and I am the person I will be forever, right now.’ And that’s just not how it works, obviously.”

Eilish has previously addressed cosmetic procedures and industry standards.

In a 2021 interview, she said, “It’s completely fine to get work done – do this, do that, do what makes you feel happy. It’s just when you deny it and say, ‘Oh, I got this all on my own, and if you just tried harder, you could get it.’ That makes me literally furious.”

She also noted the impact of online imagery on self-perception. “I see people online, looking like I’ve never looked,” she said. “And immediately I am like, ‘Oh my God, how do they look like that?’”

The singer has also spoken about her style choices, explaining that her preference for loose-fitting clothing developed during a period when she had a “toxic relationship with [her] body”.
