Erin Holland has opened up about her long road to motherhood, revealing she is expecting her first child with husband Ben Cutting after years of fertility struggles.

Appearing on a recent podcast, Holland shared that her pregnancy follows nearly five years of treatment, including around 20 rounds of IVF, four miscarriages, and an ectopic pregnancy. Describing the journey as physically and emotionally demanding, she said the setbacks often made it difficult to hold on to hope.

Holland also spoke about the financial strain of treatment, estimating the cost at around $150,000, comparable, she said, to a house deposit. “It’s worth every penny if it works out, but so often it doesn’t,” she noted.

Now past the halfway mark, she said things are starting to feel more real. After her 20-week scan and feeling the baby move, Holland described a shift in her outlook. The experience, she said, has begun to feel less daunting and more tangible, a moment she now sees as nothing short of extraordinary after everything it took to get there.
