The lawsuit against Lorna Hajdini has taken a new turn as fresh reports raise questions about the credibility of the allegations made by former employee Chirayu Rana, even as the case remains unresolved in court.

Rana, who initially filed the case under the pseudonym “John Doe”, has accused Hajdini of sexual abuse and workplace misconduct. However, newly surfaced details have sparked debate over whether parts of the story may be inconsistent.

One of the most widely discussed elements is a chatbot conversation allegedly linked to Rana that surfaced online. Screenshots reportedly show him describing similar allegations months before filing the lawsuit, raising questions about whether aspects of the case were premeditated.

Another point of controversy is that, in the same conversation, the alleged perpetrator was initially referred to as male, which appears inconsistent with later claims naming Hajdini.

The screenshots also reportedly mention Morgan Stanley instead of JPMorgan Chase, adding further confusion about the timeline and details of the alleged incidents. While some reports suggest Rana may have worked at both firms, the discrepancy has fueled skepticism.

Separately, colleagues have described Rana as “socially awkward” but professionally capable, noting that he met performance expectations during his time at the bank.

Reports also suggest that Hajdini and Rana were colleagues rather than in a direct reporting relationship, raising questions about claims that she had influence over his career progression and compensation.

Despite these emerging details, the lawsuit includes serious allegations of sexual harassment, coercion, and workplace misconduct, all of which remain unproven. JPMorgan Chase has denied the claims, stating that an internal investigation found no evidence to support them.
