The latest episode of Survivor 50, titled “A Side Dish of Chaos,” featured shifting alliances, a high-stakes twist introduced by Mr Beast, and a new elimination following a tense Tribal Council.
Following the previous vote, Emily Flippen described feeling isolated within the group. “I am, like, devastated,” she said. “This is a first for me, and I'm really not sure where this leaves me now.”
She later connected with Rick Devens, who suggested they could change strategy, stating they were “two psychopaths out here” with “literally nothing to lose.”
Devens also revealed the truth about his fake idol, drawing concern from Joe Hunter, who said, “For me, in particular, I think Rick Devens is Public Enemy No. 1.”
During the episode’s auction segment, contestants bid on comfort items, including food and hygiene products. The segment also introduced Mr Beast, described by host Jeff Probst as “the single biggest Youtuber on planet Earth.” Mr Beast unveiled the “Mr Beast Super Beware Advantage,” which was later revealed at Tribal Council.
In the immunity challenge, Tiffany Ervin secured her second win of the season, ensuring her safety. Meanwhile, shifting alliances saw Ozzy Lusth initially targeted before attention moved across multiple contestants, creating uncertainty ahead of the vote.
At Tribal Council, the twist was revealed as a coin flip offering immunity and increasing the prize fund from $1 million to $2 million. Rick Devens volunteered and successfully called the result, securing safety.
Following the vote, Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick was eliminated despite using a steal-a-vote advantage earlier in the process.
Survivor 50 continues with a reduced field of contestants as gameplay intensifies.
