FDE rolls out online admissions system

Amid growing pressure for admissions in federal government educational institutions, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has officially activated its online admission portal for the academic year 2026–2027.

According to an official statement, the portal has been opened for public access across all FDE-administered institutions, enabling students and parents to obtain complete admission-related information from home. The system provides real-time updates on seat availability in desired schools, along with easy access to merit lists for different classes and institutions.

In addition, parents can now make informed choices based on transport facilities, availability of meals, and early childhood education (ECE) centres.
