Ariana Grande announces new album 'Petal', set for July release
'Petal' is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026 and will mark Grande's eighth studio album

Ariana Grande is officially entering a new musical era with the announcement of her eighth studio album, Petal, which is set to release on July 31, 2026.
The pop star revealed the project after weeks of speculation, confirming that the album will follow her 2024 release Eternal Sunshine. The new record marks her return to music after focusing heavily on acting, including her role in Wicked.
According to reports, Petal is executive produced and co-written by Grande alongside longtime collaborator Ilya, continuing a creative partnership that has shaped several of her biggest hits.
Grande described the album as symbolic of growth and resilience, calling it something that is “full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging.”
The album announcement also comes as Grande prepares to return to the stage with her upcoming tour, her first since 2019. The tour is expected to coincide with the album rollout, signaling a major comeback moment for the singer.
Petal will be her first full-length project in over two years and is already generating significant buzz among fans, especially as it represents a new creative chapter following both personal and professional evolution.
With a summer release locked in, anticipation is building for what could be one of the biggest pop releases of 2026.
