Ted Lasso season 4 has officially been set for release, with Apple TV+ confirming a global premiere date of August 5, 2026.
The announcement was accompanied by a first teaser and initial images, offering an early look at the next chapter of the hit series.
New episodes will roll out weekly on Wednesdays following the premiere, continuing the show’s established release format. The teaser highlights the return of Jason Sudeikis as Ted, who heads back to Richmond to face a new challenge.
According to the official synopsis, the upcoming season will see Ted coaching a second-division women’s football team, marking a significant shift in the storyline. The narrative is expected to focus on themes of risk-taking and growth, as Ted and his team navigate unfamiliar territory both on and off the pitch.
Returning cast members include Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift. Several new additions have also joined the ensemble, expanding the world of the series.
The season will also introduce a recast version of Ted’s son Henry, now portrayed by Grant Feely, reflecting the character’s growth within the storyline.
