Streamer Braden Peters, known online as Clavicular, is facing intense backlash after proposing a controversial “pregnancy contest” during a livestream that quickly went viral.

According to reports, Peters suggested organising a competition involving around 500 women, structured like a beauty pageant, where the winner would be impregnated by him. He claimed the idea was part of his desire to become a father soon, saying he wanted to have children “within the next couple months.”

''I must have children. I must get children today," he said and added: "I will be a dad in the next few months, guys. I am telling you."

The remarks immediately drew criticism across social media, with many users calling the concept exploitative, inappropriate, and demeaning. He was also labelled the "male version of Bonnie Blue".

Critics argued that even if intended as a joke or shock content, the idea normalises harmful attitudes toward women and relationships.

The controversy has also been fueled by Clavicular’s history of viral stunts and provocative content. Some observers have compared the situation to other internet personalities who have used exaggerated or fabricated claims to generate attention, raising questions about whether the statement was serious or designed purely for engagement.

Regardless of intent, the reaction has been overwhelmingly negative, with the clip continuing to circulate widely online. The incident highlights how quickly extreme or controversial ideas can spread in livestream culture, especially when framed as entertainment.

Clavicular has not provided further clarification on whether the proposed contest was genuine or satirical, leaving ongoing debate about the boundaries between online shock content and real-world implications.
