Splatoon Raiders has received an official release date, with the single-player spin-off set to launch on July 23 for Nintendo Switch 2.

The announcement follows the game’s initial reveal in June 2025 and is accompanied by a new trailer showcasing gameplay and the setting of the Spirhalite Islands.

The footage highlights exploration, combat and narrative elements that will form the core of the experience.

According to Nintendo, Splatoon Raiders is designed as a single-player-focused action shooter aimed at both returning players and newcomers.

Players take on the role of a mechanic travelling across the Spirhalite Islands on a mission involving exploration and high-stakes objectives.

The game allows players to customise both their character’s appearance and equipment loadout.

Gameplay includes the use of mechanical gadgets and ink-based weapons to defeat enemies known as Salmonids, complete raids, and collect resources throughout the journey.

A central element of the story involves collaboration with the group Deep Cut, which includes Frye, Shiver and Big Man.

The trio, previously featured within the broader Splatoon series, will assist players during missions, with one member joining gameplay through a mechanised companion.

In addition to the game’s release, Nintendo confirmed that new amiibo figures based on Shiver, Big Man and Frye will launch on the same day.

The new trailer offers a closer look at the game’s environment, including varied biomes across the Spirhalite Islands, and introduces elements of the narrative centred on uncovering the region’s mysteries.
