Spider-Noir posters reveal Nicolas Cage as Marvel’s dark detective

New Spider-Noir posters reveal Nicolas Cage as a dark Marvel hero ahead of the Prime Video series debut

New posters for Spider-Noir have been released ahead of the series’ upcoming debut on Prime Video, offering a fresh look at Nicolas Cage in the lead role.

The live-action Marvel adaptation is set to premiere on May 27, with all eight episodes dropping on the platform.

The newly released posters highlight the show’s distinct visual style, which will be available in both full color and black-and-white formats. This creative choice reflects the noir tone of the original comics while offering viewers a stylized viewing experience.

The series is developed by Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot, alongside the Academy Award-winning team behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, including Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal. Emmy-winning director Harry Bradbeer helmed the first two episodes.

Cage leads an ensemble cast that includes Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, and Brendan Gleeson. The project marks Cage’s first leading role in a television series.

Spider-Noir is part of Prime Video’s expanding slate of superhero content, aiming to deliver a darker, character-driven story within the Marvel universe. The series is expected to appeal to both longtime comic fans and viewers seeking a fresh take on the superhero genre.
