Bandai Namco has announced new developments for the Dragon Ball Xenoverse series during Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026, confirming both upcoming downloadable content and a new instalment in the franchise.

The publisher revealed that what it described as "the last DLC" for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be released in summer 2026. The content, titled Future Saga Chapter 4, will conclude the extended post-launch support for the title, which has remained active for several years.

In addition to the final expansion for Xenoverse 2, Bandai Namco confirmed the development of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.

The new game is scheduled for release in 2027 and will be available on Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No Nintendo platform has been confirmed for the title at this stage.

The announcement follows earlier speculation and a reported title leak in February. Prior to its official reveal, the project had been referenced under the working title "Age 1000" in a teaser shared earlier this year.

While no further gameplay or story details have been disclosed, the confirmation signals the continuation of the Xenoverse series, which has maintained a consistent presence within the broader Dragon Ball gaming catalogue.

Elsewhere during the same event, Bandai Namco provided updates on additional Dragon Ball titles. A new downloadable character for Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to release next week.

The company also shared a preview of the upcoming Super Limit-Breaking Neo DLC for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, offering players a first look at new content planned for that game.
