Kacey Musgraves debuts new songs live at Coachella, including tracks from 'Middle of Nowhere'

Kacey Musgraves delivered a standout return to the Coachella stage, debuting several new songs live during her festival set.

According to Rolling Stone, Musgraves used her performance to showcase material from her upcoming album Middle of Nowhere, marking her first Coachella set in seven years.

The singer previewed multiple unreleased tracks during the show, including the title track Middle of Nowhere as well as Back on the Wagon and Uncertain, TX, giving fans an early look at the direction of her new era.

She also performed previously released material, including Dry Spell, which serves as the lead single from the upcoming album set for release on May 1, 2026.

Middle of Nowhere follows Musgraves’ 2024 album Deeper Well and continues her collaboration with longtime producers Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk. The project has been described as drawing from her Texas roots while blending country, folk, and other regional influences.

Musgraves’ Coachella appearance marks a significant live return, with her set highlighting both new material and her continued evolution as one of country-pop’s most prominent artists.
