Manon Bannerman made a surprise appearance at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, but not in the way fans expected.

According to Forbes, the Katseye member, who has been on hiatus since February, did not perform with her group during their highly anticipated Coachella debut. Instead, she appeared on stage during another artist’s set.

Manon was brought out during PinkPantheress’ performance in a moment that also featured other guest appearances. While she joined the stage, she did not sing or formally perform, instead appearing briefly as part of the set.

Her absence from Katseye's Sahara Stage performance was notable, especially as the group delivered a high-energy set without her. The group has continued activities as a five-member lineup following her temporary hiatus, which was announced earlier this year for her health and wellbeing.

Despite stepping back from group promotions, Manon has remained visible at the festival, attending events and being spotted with other artists, adding to ongoing speculation about her future with the group.

Her brief appearance on stage, albeit not with Katseye, adds another layer to the evolving situation between the artist, the group and their label, as fans continue to await clarity on her status.
