Polish DPM commends Pakistan's role in US-Iran ceasefire in call with Ishaq Dar

Both counterparts appreciate momentum in Pakistan–Poland relations, commit to strengthening cooperation

Polish Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Minister (FM) Radosław Sikorski on Sunday commended Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in facilitating a ceasefire between the United States and Iran, and appreciated the country’s commitment to dialogue, during a telephone conversation with DPM and FM Ishaq Dar, according to the Foreign Office.

"Both counterparts appreciated the positive momentum in Pakistan–Poland relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on X. The two leaders also held an in-depth exchange of views on regional and global issues, it added.
