According to Harper’s Bazaar, the Oscar-winning actress shared the news in an exclusive interview, opening up about her gratitude as she prepares to welcome another child at 44. She said, “Tanguy and I are very excited. I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”

Portman, who already shares two children, 14-year-old Aleph and 9-year-old Amalia, with ex-husband Benjamin Millepied, reflected on how this pregnancy feels different. She described having a greater sense of calm and appreciation, especially as she believes this may be her final pregnancy.

The actress also spoke candidly about fertility and why the topic carries personal meaning for her. As the daughter of a fertility doctor, she said, “I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant… It’s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it’s also not an easy thing.”

Now based in Paris, Portman shared that she is feeling physically well and energised, staying active through swimming and gyrotonics while spending time with her family. She also admitted that her biggest pregnancy craving right now is fruit, particularly pineapple and melon.

Professionally, Portman is preparing for several upcoming projects, including The Gallerist and Netflix’s Good Sex, but said she is taking time to savor this new chapter in her personal life.
