Eminem becomes grandfather again as eldest daughter, Alaina Scott, welcomes baby girl

The family milestone follows earlier celebrations for Eminem as his household expands again with a second generation

Eminem has become a grandfather for the second time after his eldest daughter, Alaina Scott, announced the birth of her first child with husband Matt Moeller.

Scott shared the news on Instagram, revealing that the couple welcomed a baby girl named Scottie Marie Moeller on April 14. In her announcement, she described the emotional significance of the moment, writing that her daughter felt like a presence that had already transformed her life. She referred to the newborn as “my heart outside my body” and expressed gratitude for the new addition to her family.

The name Scottie Marie carries personal meaning, as Alaina explained that it honours the “Scott sisters” within her family. Alaina Scott, who was adopted by Eminem and his former wife Kim Scott, has spoken previously about the importance of family bonds and the people who shaped her upbringing. She also highlighted her hope that her daughter will grow up surrounded by love and meaning derived from her name and heritage.

The arrival of Scottie Marie adds to Eminem’s growing family legacy. His daughter Hailie Jade welcomed her own son, Elliot Marshall, in 2025, marking Eminem’s first grandchild. The rapper, born Marshall Mathers III, has long spoken about his close relationship with his children and the importance of family in his life.

Eminem shares three daughters, Alaina, Hailie Jade and Stevie, with his former wife Kim Scott. Alaina was adopted in the early 2000s after being raised within the extended family following personal difficulties faced by her biological mother. Stevie was also later adopted into the family, further expanding the household.
