The Los Angeles Rams are tapping into one of the most iconic comedies of the 1990s for their latest NFL Draft campaign.
O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Destin Tucker, the sons of Ice Cube and Chris Tucker, star in a reimagined promo inspired by the cult classic Friday. Titled Thursday, the short film serves as the Rams’ creative lead-up to the upcoming NFL Draft.
Jackson Jr. and Tucker step into roles inspired by their fathers’ legendary characters from the 1995 comedy, which starred Ice Cube as Craig and Chris Tucker as Smokey. The original film became a cultural phenomenon and remains one of the most beloved comedies of its era.
