Jill Biden bids $35,000 for 'Heated Rivalry' role at LGBTQ benefit auction
The auction package included not only a 'Heated Rivalry' cameo opportunity but also a dinner with the cast

Jill Biden made a surprise splash at a New York City charity event after bidding thousands of dollars for a chance to appear in Heated Rivalry.
According to Variety, Biden placed a $35,000 bid for a walk-on role in the show’s upcoming second season during a live auction at the NYC LGBT Community Center’s Center Dinner.
The auction package included not only the cameo opportunity but also a dinner with the cast, making it one of the night’s most talked-about items. However, Biden ultimately did not win the role, as the final bids far exceeded her offer.
The winning bids reportedly reached $125,000 each, with two buyers securing the package and helping raise significant funds for the LGBTQ-focused organisation.
Following the event, Biden reacted lightheartedly on social media, joking about missing out on the opportunity and referencing the show’s setting, writing that she wouldn’t be “heading to the cottage after all,” while still praising the cause.
The event also celebrated the impact of Heated Rivalry, with creator Jacob Tierney and executive producer Brendan Brady honored for their contributions to LGBTQ storytelling.
The hit series, starring Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, has gained international attention since its debut and is currently preparing for its second season, expected in 2027.
Biden’s unexpected bid highlights the show’s growing cultural reach, as well as its appeal beyond traditional television audiences, while also helping raise substantial funds for a major LGBTQ community initiative.
