Meghan Trainor cancels Get In Girl tour, saying family commitments after new baby led decision

Meghan Trainor has announced the cancellation of her planned Get In Girl tour, stating that family responsibilities influenced her decision following the arrival of her third child.
The singer shared the update through social media, addressing fans who had been expecting the tour to proceed. “After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel The Get In Girl Tour,” she said.
She explained that balancing multiple commitments had become challenging, adding that the decision may disappoint fans but emphasised her priorities.
“This is the right decision for my family and me right now. I promise I’ll be back soon, and I can’t wait for you to hear this new record. I’m so proud of it, and I’m endlessly grateful for your love and support always,” she said.
The tour was initially announced in November and was scheduled to begin on June 12 in Clarkston, Michigan.
Planned stops included venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York City and the Chase Center in San Francisco, with the final performance set for August 15 in Los Angeles.
Online discussion has included speculation about ticket sales, though no official reason beyond Trainor’s statement has been confirmed.
In January, Trainor and her husband Daryl Sabara welcomed their third child via surrogate. Announcing the news, she wrote: “We are over the moon in love with this precious girl.”
Trainor is currently preparing to release her seventh studio album, Toy With Me, on April 24.
