Jason Statham is officially back in action, with new footage from The Beekeeper 2 unveiled during CinemaCon 2026.
During Amazon MGM Studios’ presentation, Statham appeared in a pre-recorded segment introducing exclusive clips from the sequel, teasing a bigger and more chaotic return for his character, Adam Clay.
The footage showed Clay discovering that the mysterious “Beekeepers” organization has gone rogue. Once tasked with protecting national security from the shadows, the group is now targeting anyone in their path, escalating the threat to dangerous new levels.
This time, Clay is no longer just on a revenge mission. He has become a wanted man himself, forced back into action when he is told he may be the only one capable of stopping the chaos. The footage reportedly showed intense action sequences, including heavy gunfire, large-scale destruction, and even bees being used as weapons in combat.
The sequel also expands its cast, with returning actors alongside newcomers such as Yara Shahidi, Pom Klementieff, and Adam Copeland. Jeremy Irons also reprises his role as Wallace Westwyld.
Directed by Timo Tjahjanto, the film is scheduled for release on January 14, 2027. The original The Beekeeper, directed by David Ayer, was a box office success, earning over $160 million worldwide.
With bigger stakes, returning characters, and a more intense mission, The Beekeeper 2 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated action sequels of 2027.
