Wasians Lola Tung, Alysa Liu, Hudson Williams, Megan Skiendiel star in Laufey’s 'Madwoman' video
Madwoman unfolds as a visually rich narrative set at a house party, where shifting relationships drive the story line

Hudson Williams, Lola Tung, Alysa Liu and Megan Skiendiel all appear in Laufey’s newly released “Madwoman” music video, a stylised, cinematic project that blends music with narrative filmmaking.
The video, released on April 13, 2026, features Icelandic singer Laufey in a retro-inspired 1960s setting, supported by a cast of rising stars and performers. “Madwoman” unfolds as a visually rich narrative set at a glamorous house party, where shifting relationships and emotional tension drive the story line.
Williams plays a central figure in the romantic dynamic at the heart of the video, while Tung appears as part of the supporting ensemble observing the unfolding drama. Liu and Skiendiel feature as part of the group of friends orbiting the main story line, adding to the layered, character-driven structure of the video.
The production is heavily influenced by 1960s aesthetics, with vintage fashion, stylised cinematography and theatrical framing that give it the feel of a short film rather than a conventional music video.
“Madwoman” is part of the deluxe edition of Laufey’s album A Matter of Time, continuing her approach of pairing music with highly cinematic visual storytelling. The video has quickly gained attention for its cast, retro styling and dramatic narrative execution.
