Nicola Coughlan and Aimee Lou Wood have been announced as the next hosts of Saturday Night Live UK, as the series continues its debut season with a strong lineup of talent.
According to Variety, Coughlan will host the April 25 episode, followed by Wood taking the stage on May 2. The upcoming installments will also feature major musical guests, with Foo Fighters set to perform during Coughlan’s episode, while RAYE will appear on Wood’s episode.
The UK adaptation of the long-running American sketch show is produced by Lorne Michaels and follows the same live format that has made the original series a global phenomenon. Each episode features a celebrity host who leads a mix of comedy sketches, monologues and live performances, created and performed within a fast-paced weekly production schedule.
The show, which premiered in March 2026, has already welcomed a number of high-profile hosts, including Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan, Riz Ahmed and Jack Whitehall, as it builds momentum in its first season.
With its growing roster of recognizable names and major musical acts, Saturday Night Live UK continues to establish itself as a key new entry in the global entertainment landscape, bringing the iconic sketch format to a British audience while maintaining the energy and immediacy of its US counterpart.
