Leaked footage from Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender has surfaced online, offering an early look at the upcoming animated film ahead of its planned release on Paramount Plus.

Around three minutes of footage appeared online on April 12, shared by an X user who claimed, "Nickelodeon accidentally emailed me the entire Avatar aang [sic.] movie." The clips provide the first detailed glimpse of the film’s animation style, voice cast and elements of its storyline.

The first clip reportedly shows Team Avatar working together to heal an ancient Airbender who had been trapped in ice, mirroring Aang’s original story.

A second clip appears to depict a later sequence in which the same character attempts to pull a temple from the Spirit World into the physical world. The sequence introduces alternate versions of Team Avatar and a Spirit World creature voiced by Taika Waititi.

An image of the film’s credits was also shared, revealing additional casting details. Ke Huy Quan is listed as Avatar Xian, while Ken Jeong appears as the Cabbage Merchant.

The ancient Airbender, named Tagah, is voiced by Dave Bautista, and the Spirit World creature is identified as a Gorillavark.

The footage was later removed following a copyright claim, with the posts displaying a notice that the media had been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner. Paramount has not commented on the situation.

Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender has been in development since Avatar Studios was formed in 2021. After multiple delays, production wrapped in March, and the film is scheduled to debut on Paramount Plus later this year.
