Graveyard Keeper, popular Stardew Valley-like, free on Steam for limited time
Graveyard Keeper is free on Steam until April 13 following sequel reveal at indie showcase

Graveyard Keeper is currently available for free on Steam for a limited period, following the announcement of its sequel during the Triple-I indie showcase on April 9.
The simulation game, originally released in 2018, can be downloaded at no cost until April 13. The offer allows players to access the full game without purchase as part of a promotion linked to the upcoming release of Graveyard Keeper 2.
Developed in the style of farming and life simulation titles, Graveyard Keeper places players in charge of managing a medieval cemetery. Gameplay involves maintaining graves, processing bodies and overseeing daily operations, combining resource management with narrative elements.
The title launched two years after Stardew Valley and has been widely recognised for drawing inspiration from that game as well as the Harvest Moon series. Its developers have previously acknowledged Stardew Valley as a key influence on its design.
Despite comparisons, Graveyard Keeper established its own identity through its darker setting and unconventional mechanics. The game includes additional downloadable content and supports modding, offering extended gameplay options for players.
The promotion also coincides with the reveal of Graveyard Keeper 2, which is expected to release later this year across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and PC. No pricing details for the sequel have been confirmed.
The free access period is set to end on April 13, after which the game is expected to return to its standard pricing on Steam.
