Swedish pop star Zara Larsson has reacted to Justin Bieber’s headline-making set at COACHELLA 2026, offering a blunt assessment that has gained traction online.
The 28-year-old Midnight Sun singer shared a video on TikTok showing herself and friends watching Bieber’s Weekend 1 performance on April 11. Over the clip, she wrote, “It’s giving let’s smoke and watch YouTube,” referencing a moment during the set where Bieber played viral videos on stage.
In another caption, Larsson added, “He’s in my dream blunt rotation,” further highlighting her reaction to the relaxed and unconventional format of the performance. The video quickly circulated across social media, contributing to wider discussion about Bieber’s set.

During his performance, Bieber incorporated a segment featuring YouTube clips, including the widely recognised “double rainbow” video, while maintaining limited interaction with the live audience. He also revisited earlier material, singing along to snippets of his past hits.
Larsson’s remarks drew criticism on X, where some users accused her of being “chronically online”, while others commented, “good thing no one asked her” and “i think she just loves being messy.”

Not a Coachella set turning into a chill YouTube session.
Bieber’s set has received mixed reactions overall, with some viewers praising its experimental and nostalgic elements, while others described it as low energy.
The festival continues in Indio, California, with more performances scheduled across its second weekend.
