SHC disposes of petitions after missing persons recovered

The constitutional bench of the Sindh High Court (SHC) disposed of petitions regarding missing persons after police confirmed the recovery and whereabouts of six individuals. The recovered persons include

During the hearing, police submitted a report stating that all six missing persons had been traced.

The report says, Mohammad Asif and Samiullah had gone missing from the jurisdiction of Jamshed Town police station.

Similarly, Namjeed, who had gone missing from Rizvia Society, has also returned home.

In another case, Jehangzeb went missing from the Shah Latif Town area. Police confirmed that he, too, has returned home.

The court was also informed that Reema, a resident of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, had not been abducted but had left home of her own free will and contracted a court marriage.

Additionally, Musarrat, who had gone missing from Korangi Industrial Area, has been located at an Edhi Home.

The petitions had named the Inspector General of Sindh Police, SSPs of East, Central, and Malir districts, CTD officials, and others as respondents.
