Las Vegas honours Bruno Mars with parade and celebrations
The singer now has a street named after him and locals have declared April 10 as "Bruno Mars Day"

Bruno Mars was celebrated in a major way in Las Vegas, as the city honoured the global pop star with a parade, an official day in his name, and even a street renamed after him.
The celebration took place along the iconic Las Vegas Strip, where Mars joined a lively parade marking his long-standing connection to the city. The event coincided with the launch of his 2026 “Romantic Tour,” which kicked off the same day at Allegiant Stadium.
As part of the tribute, Park Avenue, located near Park MGM, where Mars has held a highly successful residency, was officially renamed “Bruno Mars Drive.” The honour places him among a select group of legendary performers who have streets named after them in Las Vegas.
In addition to the street renaming, local officials declared April 10 as “Bruno Mars Day,” presenting the singer with special proclamations and recognizing his impact on the city’s entertainment scene.
Mars’ relationship with Las Vegas spans years, with more than 120 shows performed at Park MGM since 2016, making his residency one of the most successful in the city’s history.
The celebration also carried a philanthropic element, as Mars announced a $1 million donation to support a new children’s hospital in Las Vegas, further cementing his connection to the community.
The large-scale tribute highlights Mars’ enduring popularity and influence, with Las Vegas recognizing him not just as a frequent performer, but as a defining figure in its modern entertainment landscape.
