The footage comes from a storyline in The Boys Season 5, where both artists appear in a dystopian narrative involving their detention by Vought International.
In Episode 2, the show depicts influencers aligned with Homelander rounding up critics and dissenters, sending them to facilities referred to as “Freedom Camps.” The use of real-life celebrities in these scenes adds to the show’s signature satirical edge, making the fictional events feel unsettlingly real and easy to misinterpret when viewed out of context.
