FIA handles influx at Taftan border

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has maintained effective and active immigration and border management arrangements at the Taftan border in view of the ongoing regional situation in Iran, to facilitate Pakistani citizens, students, pilgrims, and other travelers returning from the country.

According to the FIA spokesperson, all security requirements are being fully met while providing necessary facilities to incoming passengers at the Taftan border.

The spokesperson stated that from February 28 to April 8, a total of 10,619 passengers were recorded entering Pakistan through the Taftan border. A large number of these travelers arrived due to the current regional situation in Iran, including Pakistani citizens, students, pilgrims, and other individuals. Director FIA Muhammad Behram Khan said that FIA immigration staff are performing their duties round-the-clock at the Taftan border.
