Is NBA Ben10 dead? Houston shooting incident sparks rumours and concern for NBA Youngboy affiliate

Police said the shooting followed a confrontation at the restaurant involving an attempted robbery

Rapper NBA Ben 10 is in critical condition after a shooting inside a Houston restaurant, according to police and statements shared on social media.

The artist, whose real name is Ben Anthony Fields, was among two individuals shot at the venue Confessions. The incident was confirmed by Houston police, with Lieutenant R. Wilkins outlining the severity of the injuries sustained by both victims.

“Right now, this is a shooting, we got two victims. One been shot multiple times in the torso. Probably in his late 20s. Another has been shot in the extremities — in the lower extremities — and also all throughout his arms and everything, several times. They’re both transported to local hospitals right now. They’re both in very critical conditions,” Wilkins said.

Initial rumours circulating on social media suggested the rapper had died. However, those claims were denied by a family source. OG Monique, the mother of OG 3Three, confirmed his condition in an Instagram Story, writing: “Ten is alert… Stop the made-up stories.”

“So what we know right now is our suspect, who we don’t know who he is right now… had a confrontation with a couple guys,” he said. “They were in the process of trying to rip his chains off.”

He added, “Sometime during that part of the fight, the victim… presents a pistol… and started shooting randomly. Ends up hitting two people.”

The Baton Rouge native is known as an affiliate of NBA YoungBoy, who has not publicly responded to the incident. Authorities said investigations are ongoing, with video footage and witness accounts being reviewed.
