Actress Tori Spelling and four of her children were taken to the hospital following a serious car accident in Temecula, California, authorities say.
The crash occurred on April 2 when another driver allegedly ran a red light and collided with the vehicle Spelling was driving, which was carrying four of her own kids along with three of their friends. All eight occupants were evaluated at the scene and then transported to the hospital in separate ambulances for treatment of injuries including cuts, bruises and concussions.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office confirmed deputies responded to the collision around 5:45 p.m. Thursday, finding two vehicles with significant damage. No arrests have been made, and the incident remains under investigation.
Spelling, 52, shares five children with her ex‑husband Dean McDermott, and this latest incident brought renewed concern from fans and fellow celebrities, many of whom have offered support for her family’s recovery.
While specific details about the severity of the injuries haven’t been released, reports indicate that everyone involved is receiving medical care and that Spelling and the children are expected to recover.
