Leaked footage believed to be from the set of the upcoming Elden Ring film has surfaced online, offering what may be the first look at the live-action adaptation directed by Alex Garland.
The clips began circulating on April 3 and 4, showing a large outdoor set in what appears to be the English countryside.
The footage includes structures and props that closely resemble locations and elements from the original game, prompting discussion among fans about the project’s visual direction.
Among the most notable features in the footage is a structure resembling the Church of Marika, a key location within the Elden Ring world.
The set appears to include a central statue similar to Queen Marika, along with environmental details such as wooden carriages, barrels and crucifixion stakes that reflect the game’s design.
The footage is reported to have originated from a TikTok user known as THROX, who shared multiple videos from the same site.

The Elden Ring film was officially announced in May 2025, with confirmation that Garland would write and direct the project as part of a collaboration between A24 and Bandai Namco.
Earlier reports indicated that Garland presented a detailed pitch for the adaptation, including an extensive script and visual materials, before securing approval from stakeholders.
Neither A24 nor Bandai Namco has commented publicly on the leaked footage. However, if confirmed, the material suggests that the production may be using large-scale sets to recreate environments from the game.
