PESHAWAR:

In a major crackdown on street crimes, police in Peshawar killed two 'dangerous snatchers' and arrested three others injured during separate encounters in different police station limits.

In the limits of Gulbahar police station, highly wanted snatchers Sajjad and Abid were killed in crossfire from their own accomplices. An Assistant Sub-Inspector remained safe despite a bullet striking his bulletproof jacket. According to police, the deceased were wanted in more than 10 serious cases, including snatching, firing on police, attempted murder, and other crimes.
