Jessica Simpson is reportedly in a new relationship following her separation from Eric Johnson, according to a source. The singer and entrepreneur is said to be dating Nashville-based musician Thomas Eisenhood, more than a year after announcing the end of her marriage.

The development follows Simpson and Johnson’s split in January 2025 after 10 years together. The former couple share three children and have continued to prioritise co-parenting since their separation.

A source stated that Simpson is currently in a positive place, saying, "She's happy. She's in a great place, excited for her future."

Eisenhood, who previously performed with the band Stoop Kids before its reported disbandment in 2023, is now based in Nashville.

Reports of the relationship first surfaced in entertainment media, with further details emerging from sources close to Simpson, reported to PEOPLE.

Despite their separation, Simpson and Johnson are said to maintain a cooperative relationship focused on their children. According to a source, "She and Eric are committed to being the best possible parents they could be, having a harmonious relationship and supporting their kids."

The pair are reportedly still managing shared responsibilities, including the sale of their family home in Hidden Hills, California. The property has been listed intermittently since their split, with efforts to maintain stability for their children during the transition.

Simpson previously addressed the separation publicly, stating: "Eric and I have been living separately, navigating a painful situation in our marriage." She added, "Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them."

Sources indicate that Simpson is currently focusing on her family, music and career, while moving forward following the end of her marriage.
