US, Israeli aircraft strike key bridge in northern Iran

Fars said sites in Karaj’s Azimieh area were hit, including the Middle East’s highest B1 Bridge

A US-Israeli attack hit a key bridge on a main highway in northern Iran on Thursday, in the latest escalation in the region, Iranian media reported.

According to Fars News Agency, multiple sites were struck in the Azimieh area near the city of Karaj, including the B1 Bridge, described as the highest bridge in the Middle East.

The news outlet also said at least two people died in the attack

The outlet said several people were injured in the attack, and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.
