Creative voices rise at 'Feminists Charisma VI'

Women artists captivate audiences with bold themes and aesthetic depth

A group exhibition featuring works of women artists opened at the Arts Council of Pakistan, highlighting the creative depth and aesthetic expression of female talent.

Titled "Feminists Charisma VI by Talented Women Artists," the exhibition was inaugurated by ACP President Ahmed Shah, who said art reflects every dimension of society and captures global realities through diverse styles and forms.

"Women artists often demonstrate a stronger aesthetic sensibility compared to men," he said, adding that the exhibition offered fresh ideas and innovative perspectives. He congratulated all participating artists and expressed hope that collectors would take keen interest in the showcased works.

The exhibition, curated by renowned artist Samina Mumtaz, featured around 60 artworks by 25 artists, drawing significant attention from art enthusiasts. It aimed to pay tribute to the creative capabilities of women artists, with many pieces portraying themes of femininity and natural beauty.

Speaking on the occasion, MPA and Local Government Secretary Muhammad Qasim Soomro said such platforms provide valuable opportunities for young people to learn and polish their skills. "Youth are a nation's greatest asset, and with proper guidance, they can bring about positive change in society," he said.

He urged young artists to make the most of such opportunities, acquire new skills and continue striving for a brighter future.

The exhibition was attended by a large number of art lovers, including Tanveer Farooqui and Jimmy Engineer, among others.
