“I just wanted to say, ‘Hey, slow down,’” Taylor said, maintaining that his intentions were misunderstood and escalated unnecessarily.

However, accounts from witnesses appear to contradict parts of Taylor’s version. Despite the conflicting narratives, Taylor continues to stand by his claim that he was acting out of concern for neighborhood safety. Authorities are investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made so far.
