'Supernatural' actress Carrie Anne Fleming dies at 51 after cancer battle

Carrie Anne Fleming, best known for her roles in Supernatural and iZombie, has died at the age of 51 following a battle with breast cancer.

The actress passed away on February 26, 2026, due to complications related to the illness. A representative confirmed she “died peacefully with her loved ones by her side.”

“She was a beautiful soul, inspiring, and above all, kind. She will be greatly missed,” the statement added.

Fleming’s Supernatural co-star Jim Beaver, who played her on-screen husband, shared an emotional tribute after her passing. “My friend, my lover, my bright light, my beautiful costar… my heart is broken,” he wrote.

Over a career spanning more than three decades, Fleming appeared in over 40 screen roles. She was widely recognized for playing Karen Singer on Supernatural and later starred as Candy Baker on iZombie.

She also had roles in popular series including Smallville, The L Word, and Supergirl, along with stage performances in productions such as Romeo and Juliet and Steel Magnolias.

Fleming is survived by her daughter, Madalyn Rose. A memorial service is expected to be announced at a later date.
